New Viral Site Coming Soon

Announced at the "Golden Ticket Event" was that we are going to be getting a new viral marketing website: http://thesmarterwaytowork.com

The new site will go live on the 11th May 2009 and include a new affiliate movie presented by Andrew Brittain. Visitors to the site will see a short version of the video before being prompted to register to see the full movie.

Upon registration, users will be able to see the full video and automatically be an affiliate member giving them full access to the e-Lottery back office & there own viral page. As well as this, they will get an e-Lottery recruiting site and tell a friend system which can be used to tell your Hotmail, Yahoo etc friends. There will also be Facebook & MySpace widgets available.

I wasn't at the meeting but perhaps one of the forum members who was there knows the answer to this? I would suspect it will be available in different languages though.

They did say if the new site would be.

Tom said that the old site was difficult to update for all of the countries. But the new site could easily be changed. So it's possible.

The site is being worked on, re-scripting etc in a new style of code so it can easily be modified. They didnt actually say if it will be multi-lingual. However knowning the speed they have put this all together if its not already, I am sure it will be soon.

It was said that the new web software is web 3.5 and written in c sharp.
This means nothing to me being completely non tech, but the general idea was that everything will be faster and it will be easier to put the site into different languages.

Not heard the term "Web 3.5" before. Maybe they are referring to .NET 3.5 or something...

When you are talking abouth the old site difficult to update are you talking about the actual english website with the new video as the website for all the foreign languages are the old one with only the testimonials in english are not the same as the actual english website that has been launched with el gordo last year?

As I heard or read I don't remember where in January when the actual english website has already been launched that the admin was working on the translation of the actual english website for foreign languages....

Is the actual english website almost finished in foreign languages as it is pretty long 5 months now since the new website in english has been launched.....

Or will they changed again the actual english website and make it easier to make it in foreign languages?

They never gave an answer about the languages. Tom say the the old software ment that it took a lot of work to make changes. This new 3.5 Thingy means that it will be fairly simple to make changes. He then said that in the past it was a lot of work to make changes in all the diffrent languages. But this softeware should make this possible.

However when they showed the demo of the new site nothing was said about languages. maybe you could email HQ and post the answer here.
